My life has CHANGED soooo much…

I am not on my computer right now, so I have no new paintings to post(SOON, though!) So, I went to Europe for a few weeks a little over a month ago and that was AmAzing!  I will be sure to post some choice pics from that too:-)  You know when you have this gut feeling that something is just not right/fair?  I acted on that feeling(knowing that my instinct has rarely failed me).  Today is so incredibly different from the date on which I last posted.  I said I was “searching” for something…That is soooo interesting to me to read it now.  I wasn’t searching.  I was stuck in a cycle of routine thought and action.  I am well aware of the fact that I chose that for myself, but I DO know that I am not proud of that fact…Nor do I seek any kind of pity over it.  I have newfound inspiration…not necessarily regarding art(cuz we all know that the best art USUALLY comes from an unhappy patch in the road…or maybe that’s just me) but more LIFE!  I only have this one, so I intend on making it what I want it to be and I aspire for my heart to be filled with hope, passion and love at ALL times.  So, on that note:  Look for some new shit soon.  I may even post the art I am working on for my next tattoo(only my second;-)  Thanks for readin’~ Much Love

Long time,no post…

I have Three or four unfinished pieces sitting under a drop in the studio…I guess you could say i have been “searching” for something.  Everytime I start something, I lose interest at some point and begin a new painting.  I do plan on finishing them all at some point, just need breaks and gotta come back to them.  lately, it seems as though my actual “job” is reaping all of my creative benefits these days and when I get home there’s none left for me…oh well, I guess it’s my own fault.  I will post as soon as I finish them all up!

What’s new with me?  Well, I will be going to Europe in less than two months…that’s pretty exciting to me!  My Nanna and Grandad live in Wales and I haven’t seen them in ages, so I planned a little trip around that.  First stop: Paris, to London, to Wales (maybe a day in Liverpool thrown in there), then ferry to Dublin and train to Cork county, Ireland(better known for the Blarney castle/stone and Jameson Distillery).  Seriously can’t wait!

So, since the last post…which was soooo long ago, we moved and I am in the process of getting my studio set up in the garage.  I have no new work for myself, but I do have some of Trader Joe signs and our new casa:-)

Ok, so I have been lagging…and running

I am honestly working on a big piece right now.  The only thing with it is that each time i sit down to work on it, I need a guaranteed couple of hours and I don’t really have that right now.  I have reached a point on it where I feel like I am ruining it, but i have to go on because it is a commission and it’s gotta look how it’s supposed to.  So, yeah…

Anyways, part of the reason I may have a little less time is because I am training for a half marathon (icing my knees as I type right now), so I gotta get my runs in before i start painting or I won’t run:-(  Check it out…everyone should come on down…It’s February first, so plenty of time to train:-) It’s Surf City USA in Huntington Beach(also a full marathon and 5k)

I am not neglecting…

I am keeping up my end of the bargain ….(one work a week) I am working on a big one and I had such a busy past two weeks at work! Painting like a mo-fo! That finally slowed down , so I started a 4’x3′ piece for a friend’s living room:-) He surfs and was into my surfer piece, so it will have that kinda vibe.  So far, just a sky, so I will get it up as soon as I finish, folks! ~peace
